Because we might as well have some sort of thread for purely out of character rambling and the like.

So, it seems like the Great Will of the Nitrocosm has reset the RP's universe. Not that this is something unusual, by now. I'll join in eventually, but I've got to figure out what I want to do, any might not turn up for a while due to a trip I'm taking starting in a couple days and lasting until around the end of the month.

I'll also need to figure out the sort of character I want to run, and seeing a bit more of what's going on might help. Hopefully, I won't just recycle one of the characters from my CthulhuTech or Magical Girls games I'm playing in or running on the weekends.

I do have a few ideas for weird things that could drive a plot of some sort, which might even be familiar to us old folks.

Umm... my will isn't that great. It's more of a mediocre will. Actually I need to write a will. Will Smith.

Guess I'll summarize the setting, as far as what I was trying to create. It's in the floating city of Aramid, located in the upper Troposphere to the East of the U.S. and over the Atlantic ocean. My weather knowledge isn't as strong as it once was, so having a thunderstorm underneath the city might not be accurate.

Anyway, if anyone wants to modify the setting, let's do it - that's fine with me. I just wanted to start up something fresh.
This is a community activity, of course, so don't consider my opening post to be anything set in stone.

Heh. Starting over's ok with me - I have some ideas for the plot, too, maybe they'll unfold in the next few posts. Sorry, I've been out most of the week so I'm just now getting back to reading and catching up.,

It looks like a very similar story to what we've done in the past, right? Maybe we could shake things up a bit.

We might want to do something about agreeing on how fast to advance the timeline - for instance if a character cuts to the next morning, and another character means to do something before then... it could mess up the flow, know what I mean? Just a request yes
