I use VirtualBox running Linux as a portable, compact web development server. Recently I'd been experimenting with system snapshots, accidentally overwriting the system image with an old copy, which I had backed up several times over the course of the site re-design.

The end result was the loss of some work on the site so I had to re-do some things and then restore them to the live site again. All in all, it was kind of a difficult experience but everything should be straightened out, now.

I've fixed the "posts since last visit" issue, as far as I can tell. If it's still happening for anyone, let me know.

Testing

Well, there hasn't really been much activity and because of that there are no new post since the last time I logged in.

It's strange how things pick up and then died down rather suddenly here.

I guess I'll wait and see how things go.
