Not bad. Just like with nuclear fusion, it may not yet be practical but it's a demonstration as to how far we've come with alternative energy. I try to be optimistic about things like this without falling for the hype but I'd still say this looks promising indeed.

Sure. The article only covers the overview of what the process is. It doesn't get into the feasibility or application. It doesn't seem likely that it would sequester more CO2 than it would eventually redistribute upon using the fuel.
It would have been nice to have a little more information about the efficiency of the process. Oh well.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -- Carl Sagan
