Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra

I'm looking forward to this game, but I admit to being a bit shocked to hear that it's the last in the Xenosaga series.

Somebody, please tell me I'm wrong

Well, I'm not too big into games right now, but I did hear that it was the last Xenosaga for the PS2. There might be another one for the PS3, who knows.

I've got a friend who's really big into RPG's, he might know more.

I hope you're right. There are so many elements of the story that are not likely to be wrapped up sufficiently in only three episodes.

If it sells well, there'll probably be more. If it sells, Namco will make more. The rumors about the third being the last were probably b/c the sales on XS2 weren't as high as expected. I hope it's not the last, at least. Though at $600, I'm not sure if a PS3 is gonna be worth picking up, even for this.

I am SO not buying a PS3 for $600. I don't care if they make a fourth Xenosaga, an FF7 remake, or even a Xenogears remake. Sony is on crack if they expect a $600 console to sell to the already struggling middle class.

By the way, I'm trying to avoid buying Sony products in general after that whole DRM thing.
