I just finished watching the entire RahXephon series.
It is really good! I highly recommend it.

They showed it at one of our local cons. I only saw a few episodes but it seemed a little "dry" to me, even compared to Evangelion.
Just first impressions though. Maybe once you get into it, it gets deeper? Waff-O!
