New article in News (Regular musings and updates): Learning to use Blender and more freelancing

In the past 36 hours I've been learning how to use Blender to create my 3D artwork. The program that I've been using is from 1996, so it's about time I move on to using something better. Blender is free and open source - and pretty easy to use once you've watched a few tutorials.

I spent some time this holiday weekend watching this tutorial (WARNING: site header artwork potentially NSFW). The videos are pretty long and well-explained. It's a few hours, but the time is well worth the investment.

Additionally, I've been doing freelance work. The first panel for page 127 is underway - it's going to be detailed so I'm taking the time to try to get it done right....
