Gotta wait for that adrenaline to wear off, but yeah, they'll probably both crash fairly hard.
Elise won't be happy about things either, not that she'd likely show much of it. Sadly, General Monologue didn't get shot in the face. Though Elise isn't the sort to just let him turn and run with impunity. Not that he's suffered terribly for his trouble either, assuming he isn't a complete idiot.
Dr. Heimborem will be lucky if we aren't fighting over what sort of justice is acceptable and who gets to mete it out, at this rate. He's playing for too many teams and they keep outing him, which does suggest he's nearing the end of his usefulness for most of them, though.
I knew there'd be giant robots eventually. Not sure how giant here, so not too sure how effective any given set of bullets on small arms should be. Creative solutions are encouraged; I'll try to toss out a few ideas of my own.
Not leaving without at least plenty of pictures of that sphere, if not also cracking it open or stealing files. Even if we have to yank the data storage right out of a dead computer or two.
