I would add toilet paper to the list, if you're going to be eating lots of greasy or spicy food.

You might think I'm joking but if the host happens to be running low... you KNOW you don't want to be stuck in that kind of situation should things go South.

Good point about the toilet paper but I'm not sure I'd want to be seen bringing it. The hosts might get the wrong idea.

I'm beginning to become skeptical of cynicism.

That actually doesn't sound like a terrible idea, but I'd leave it in the car and maybe, should it be necessary, discretely bring it with you when the time comes.

I could share horror stories regarding the brilliant idea of bringing your own toilet paper, but let's not go there.
