You do know that if you pay to advertise a Facebook page, Facebook will fill all of the impressions with fake "likes" and take your money.

Wolfwood, I don't think Facebook is doing that on purpose. From the looks of things it's frauds who set up hundreds of fake accounts to commit fraud. I doubt very much that Facebook would knowingly defraud people for advertising money without getting caught.
Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem. (More assumptions than necessary should not be made.) Or the simplest explanation is the most likely.
At the same time I don't find advertising on Facebook very effective since the accounts are fake. I'm beginning to become skeptical of cynicism. |
Although I keep my profile private so I don't know if it will show up on there or not.
