Guess what... the forums now have a drawing tool feature, otherwise known as "Oekaki".
It's a Flash-based drawing canvas where you can now (in certain forums categories) draw directly in your browser and post whatever you've drawn instantly instead of uploading an image from your computer.
Right now, The Community Gallery, Role Playing, Humor, and Random categories allow the Oekaki option and users must have a verfied status (same as permissions to post HTML or upload images).
Please let me know what you think of this new feature!

Spiffy. It's not as full featured as, say, a desktop app but still very cool to have as a quick way to make a doodle and post it with no fuss.
We'll have to start some scribble chat threads!
