My significant other has a soft spot for sweet porridge made from oats/oatflakes. Which I personally can't stand, but savoury porridge made from cornmeal is pretty good.

Nothing particularly special, even simplistic here. But I cooked polenta (maize/corn porridge), served with fried onions and bell peppers.
