He was originally The Evil Grimace and have four arms with which to steal the fries and milkshakes of children. Not making this up.
Not sure if this explains his current existence, but there you go. McDonald's characters were...different earlier on. |

I had heard that early on... McDonald's characters were more... violent... than they are now.

But the Hammurderer was so much more fun, with his cry of "Stabble Stabble stabble!" The Hamburglar just doesn't have the same flair. |
