I'm a windows user here, myself. Been happy with Windows XP, once you clean all the junk out. I hate how new computer come with all this bloatware crap.

Aint' a bad way to go, if you can swing it. I'd make sure to get a model with a lot of RAM because I'm not sure how upgradeable these things are.
