Notice how it doesn't say "rules". That's because I don't think rules are needed unless serious problems arise first.
Basically, the following guidelines are suggested to promote the enjoyment of the forums by everyone:
1) Please keep language PG-13.
2) Please do not verbally abuse each other.
3) Please keep critiques and criticisms constructive. Don't troll or bash.
4) Please do not spam the board.
5) If you have ideas for the board, by all means suggestions are welcome.
Thanks, and have fun.

6) Do not hack the board.
I was under the impression that this one went without saying, but I guess we'll have to put it up anyway...

Heh. True. But it's a good idea just to be clear on it.
Also, in addition to these guidelines, it should be made clear that anyone caught hacking these boards won't just be banned. I will press charges against anyone who causes real or repetitive damage to this site. Don't think you can't get caught. I don't know what the host will do, but I know they are big on security and don't like hackers any more than I do.
Having to restore from backups is not difficult, but is time consuming. Time is money.

Nitro, I'd like to suggest the following:
7) Do not post links for information pertaining to warez, cracks, roms, pornography, hacking, or anything else that promotes illegal activity.
The reason why is because there is a certain amount of liability in running a board, and if illegal stuff is linked from here, you could find yourself in serious trouble.
Just a suggestion

I think a simple "the opinions expressed on this board do not reflect those of the host, webmaster, or moderators" would work better on that last one...
