Thought I'd provide a recap of 2214's story so far:

SPOILER ALERT: If, for some reason, you haven't read the comic up to this point, please don't read this.

---------------------------------

Ravenna and Bus investigate the authoritarian directives of Zetsfir, a global governing body that has drafted a percentage of the World's population to take part in an interplanetary migration over the course of many hundreds of years.

Ravenna's uncle Gesh has recently commited an act of terrorism by detonating himself using a high-powered explosive. His suicide bombing was to avoid giving Zetsfir a sample of his brain tissue as the police, working for Zetsfir, had surrounded him as he was trapped on the roof of a building. The detonation caused significant damage to multiple city blocks.

Unbenownst at first to his brother, Azurat, Zetsfir had managed to obtain Gesh's entire brain and use some apparently unique, bizarre attributes it held to power a large machine aboard the interplanetary migration vessel, named the "Morgan's Gate".

While investigating, Ravenna and Bus make the rash decision to enter a cargo shuttle - mid-flight - and sneak aboard the Morgan's Gate. They make it on board and discover the machine that contains her uncle's intact, disembodied brain. Bus inadvertently activates the machine and the two disappear.

Ravenna finds herself in an unfamiliar world where humans speak an entirely different language and have a very different civilization than Earth's. She learns that she has traveled forward in time four thousand years through the activation of the machine aboard the Morgan's Gate and decides to work with a group of military elites to find Bus. She becomes entangled in several battles as the elites from the nation of Fumacine try to protect the space station named "Pandora" and stop Zetsfir, which exists in the future as well, from carrying out genocide against the people of this new planet.

Eventually, the four of them find themselves aboard the re-activated, transformed Morgan's Gate as it is surrounded by battleships. The nations of the planet, desperate to stop Zetsfir after the Pandora space station was destroyed, become impatient and resolve to destroy the Morgan's Gate with the Fumacine elites and Ravenna on board.

At the last moment, after some more battles, Azurat and Bus plow the Hovercrane into the Morgan's Gate and begin to escape with the others onboard. Before they can exit, however, the Morgan's Gate begins to phase out of their plane of existence and causes the Hovercrane to transfer to another, parallel reality where yet another planet exists where Zetsfir's people reside.

Now, at this point in the story, our characters have to figure out where they are and how they can return to their respective home worlds.

Nice summary. It makes me realize that the overall plot is relatively straightforward.

There are a lot of details left out, but that's why they call it a summary, I guess.

I'd have figured that what happened to Prince Fumacine was more noteworthy, but hey, sounds good to me.
