Usually most "viral" videos are actually promoted with a s***load of cash and disguised as "viral". Easy formula. Just pay to have it sockpuppetted (Facebook's notorious for this) and bingo.
Really, viral videos don't happen on their own because it's very obnoxious to forward chain e-mails or re-post every damn thing you come across. You get unfollowed / unfriended for doing that so how could things get popular that way? They don't. "Dangerous toys are fun, but you could get hurt!" |

No, nothing was hacked, it looks like a mis-configuration of the bots. I sent Nitrocosm a PM about it last night and it looks like he took care of it.
Nothing to worry about.
