Is there anything else we need to cover before starting Chapter 2?
If not, who shall start us off?
EDIT: I don't mind waiting - that's totally fine with me.

Let's wait a little. There are still some things that need to be worked out. Mainly what Jess specifically intends to do when she gets into town and Renk's ability to get back in contact with his squadron leader. It doesn't matter if the glass is half empty or half full. There's clearly enough room for more wine. |

In chat earlier we were discussing what the extent of Jess's cooperation with - and knowledge of - Herei Mob Army is. I guess that's what we're calling it (what a weird name though I appreciate the awkward pun).
As Helena pointed out, Jess would be the enemy of Herei if they were responsible for her mother's assassination (which I guess we're assuming they were)
As far as I know, that's the only remaining loose end we need solved before we start Chapter 2. 73's, KD8FUD |

The pun's lost on me.
Anyway, Atlas will be familiar with them, only through word of mouth when he was active in the military. If that's all we need, then we're probably set. "Dangerous toys are fun, but you could get hurt!" |

Ok, I know people have been waiting on me to come up with something to explain how Jess is connected to Herei Mob Army so here goes.
Jess knows that Dark Spider's part of HMA. She's also well aware of HMA's role in killing her mother. Jess masks her identity when communicating with HMA / Dark Spider not only because she wants to conceal the fact she's talking to them from her family but also to infiltrate HMA and let them believe she's sympathetic to her cause.
Jess, while pretending to be another anonymous criminal paying for information from HMA, is actually gathering information to take them down and get revenge. So, to make it really clear, she hates their guts but is doing things strategically.
Jess is going by the handle "RDS" or rds2937122 (from Duncan's e-mails earlier)
She is about to show up at the Velvet Room after poking around the remains of the EMA building and taking care not to get herself caught. (This post was edited 9 years ago on Friday, February 12th, 2016 at 9:59 pm) Don't find fault, find a remedy -- Henry Ford |
