Abilities: Jess has a lifetime of strict military training and above-average agility and strength. She does not possess any esper qualities, at least not to her knowledge right now.

Appearance: She has a thin figure but excellent posture and graceful movements. Her hair covers her left eye. Her right eye glows bright green.

Personality: Jess was raised by a very wealthy family and has spent her entire childhood in a military academy. She is very strict and proper. She has virtually no sense of humor and has what you might call a very uptight personality. She plays violin and is very athletic.

History: (see "personality" section) - Jess's parents were never around much; her father is the owner of one of the major corporations that owns the world and her mother was a politician who was assassinated during the unrest surrounding the "unauthorized" migration to space. As a result she resents the lower classes on the planet.

Her life has been very sheltered. When not at the military academy, she spent her free time taking music lessons and hasn't had many friends outside of the elites in the academy.

What's the story behind Jess's nickname "The Reaper"? That should be interesting.

I have to wonder, why would Jess' eye glow? Though I an see a couple explanations, notably either a mostly cosmetic prostheic, or equally cosmetic bioware work, possibly even done by genetic engineering in the womb. Rich folks can get away with a lot.

A Solid Snake style infiltrator type would definitely fit right into things, just to comment on that. I'll get a character up of my own soon enough, and try to get things started.

The genetic engineering explanation would work for me. Her parents were never aware of the genetic engineering - Jess was grown outside of the womb in a lab, using her parents' DNA but the lab did some genetic manipulation without her parents' approval.

An idea: Jess' bloodline is considered superior in some ways so some covert actions by the scientists to use their genetics for some experiments were underway since the genes were so highly sought after.

Jess has latent powers that haven't awoken yet and they're related to her glowing eye and the reason she hides her other eye.

I'm good with Atlas having some kind of working relationship with Renk and Duncan. Maybe he was part of the missions in which those two also served.

Atlas' memory is fuzzy when it comes to the missions themselves so he might not remember them at first. Meeting them might trigger a flashback.

How did Jess get the name "Reaper"?
