She's ok now
So when are we going to get this puppy started?

We may have more players coming in so we're probably not starting right away. "Dangerous toys are fun, but you could get hurt!" |

(Not my art, before anyone asks.)
Elise Lorentz
Street Name: Sophia Weiss (Alias/false identity), Gender: Female Species: Human cyborg ‘Ware/Powers: Sophia has some very heavy cyberware and bioware enhancements, detailed below.
Synaptic Booster The neurons of her spinal cord and other major nerves have been enhanced and replicated, allowing for greater neural "bandwidth", leading to enhanced reflexes and reaction time.
Aluminum bone lacing Elise's bones have been laced with lattice chains of metal, improving their integrity and tensile strength. They also make her a little more resilient to harm and hit a little harder with her fists.
Muscle augmentations Elise's muscles have been augmented with bundles of artificial or vat-grown tissue, enhancing her strength beyond what would be readily apparent.
Cybereyes Elise's eyes are carefully-constructed cybernetic replacements, designed to look particularly nice and lifelike. They have multiple functions, including night-vision, thermal vision, long-range zoom functionality, flash compensation, and can be used alongside a smartlink to display various data from a "smart" gun. They're also wired to overlay AR displays onto her vision, if received from the environment.
Datalink The basic wired/wireless dataport used by many hackers, programmers, and others, and not even uncommon among the general population for easy access to the 'Net and Augmented Reality. Elise primarily uses it with a smart gun.
Electrokinesis Elise's adept abilities are potentially impressive, as she is capable of generating large voltages within her body, and even using electricity to attack. They're not particularly strong, either due to the luck of the draw, or something to do with all the cybernetics. She primarily uses her abilities to deliver stunning shocks in close combat, and essentially never needs to carry a taser.
Appearance: Elise usually dresses conservatively, preferring full suits and vests, whenever possible. Her affectation may come off as rather masculine, most of the time, and a good number of her suits are made of bulletproof fabric. She's relatively short and has a slight build, appearing to be of an indeterminate age somewhere around the late teens. She does, however, weigh more than her appearance should indicate, which is one of the largest tells of her cybernetic enhancement.
Elise looks like someone else. Her eyes, her build, her voice, even her fiber-optic hair, she's the spitting image of Crest's idol singer and spokesmodel, Eclair Antares. This isn't necessarily surprising, Crest does provide pretty much everything one would need to do exactly that.
Personality: Elise tends to be a bit on the cynical and sarcastic side. She's been running the shadows for a while now, and has a bit of a dim view of the corporations in general. She's very professional on the job, regardless of her opinion of he client. She does not like discussing her past.
History: Elise actually was Eclair for a time. Crest's policy recruits an entire line of girls to play the role, eventually retiring them as they age out of it or are replaced by newer talent. She began to see the writing on the wall, and got out while the getting was good. Of course, her entire identity outside of Eclair had been erased, and the idol's identity stays with the brand, so she was essentially nobody. Albeit, a nobody with some pretty good 'ware; Crest prided itself on an idol whose bodyguards were just for show.
Since her escape, Elise has been something of a free agent in the criminal world. These days, she hasn't been particularly active, and is working a bartending gig at The Velvet Room, a small, quiet club which caters to an image of quiet, cultured ambiance, rather than the louder, rougher fare. This isn't to say its regulars are all posh and upper-crust, just those who prefer a posh atmosphere, or to rent a private room where people don't ask many questions and they can be ensured of no eavesdropping. As Vega mentioned in chat, some of us might meet at the bar where Elise is working.
I'll go ahead and say that Atlas is meeting with some shady mob boss at this bar. He's going to take a job as a mercenary. Hope that gets things started off. "Dangerous toys are fun, but you could get hurt!" |
