If you look closely in the last frame right before he turns around and runs, you can see a skeleton holding a radio and it turns around to look at him.

What gives me the heebie jeebies more than anything is the way that dilapidated ventilation chute looks at the entrance to the mine.
It just looks like it's floating there in mid-air. Interesting. |

Yeah; that thing does add to the creepy aesthetic.
